The original staging system was developed by Claus Hansen in 1999–2000 and acquired by Nordic in 2002. Hansen was also the designer behind Trustus 1, the pioneering outdoor roof system that remains in active service today and has established an exceptional safety record over a decade of use with Trustus Outdoor Roof systems, the sister company of Nordic Staging.
That same engineering philosophy remains at the heart of Nordic Staging Systems today: keep it simple, make it strong, and design it for the realities of the live entertainment industry.
Built around a lightweight yet robust modular aluminium construction, the Nordic system is designed to make stage building faster, safer and more efficient, while dramatically reducing transport and storage requirements. Its modular construction makes it easy to assemble, adapt, maintain and reconfigure for everything from touring productions and festivals to temporary venues and special events.
More than twenty years after Nordic acquired the original design, the principles remain remarkably relevant: maximum strength, minimum transport volume, rapid installation and uncompromising safety.
Best summarized in three words: Easy, safe and efficient.
